Material Attendant

Responsibilities

• Receive and stock parts, tools, materials, and equipment using computers or handheld devices
• Load and unload delivery trucks using a forklift and palletize materials for shipment
• Inspect incoming and outgoing materials for any signs of damage
• Perform physical inventory counts and input data into the SAP inventory management tool
• Maintain organized and neat tool and part storage areas
• Process requisitions to order necessary stock and maintain proper inventory levels
• Label, sort, and wrap packing materials
• Work from elevated platforms and ladders up to 15 feet

Requirements

• Valid Florida driver’s license
• Previous warehouse or inventory experience
• Knowledge of SAP, Maximo, or equivalent inventory management programs
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office software
• Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and twist to manage inventory
• Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience operating power industrial trucks (forklifts, power pallet jacks)
• Previous experience using Wi-Fi handheld devices
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a warehouse environment
