Matchday Host

Responsibilities

• Provide live entertainment and engagement during home matches to enhance the fan experience
• Coordinate and host Washington Park activities, promotions, and contests
• Engage with fans in the stadium to encourage crowd participation and a positive atmosphere
• Conduct on-field interviews with fans, players, coaches, and team personnel
• Work with partners to integrate promotions and giveaways into matchday entertainment
• Collaborate with the match production team to plan and script in-game entertainment elements
• Manage crowd energy and dynamics to encourage positive sportsmanship
• Adapt to changes in match schedules, weather delays, or unforeseen circumstances

Requirements

• Previous experience as an event host, emcee, or in live entertainment
• High energy and enthusiasm for fan engagement
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• Ability to read and respond to crowd energy
• Currently pursuing or obtained a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting, Journalism, Film, Mass Media or related field
• Strong customer service and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Experience with multi-branded marketing and sponsorship environments

• Basic understanding of soccer and FC Cincinnati
