Master's Thesis - AI and Computer Vision for Industrial Quality Inspection

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize AI models for automatic quality inspection in industrial production
• Analyze, preprocess, and evaluate real image data from production processes
• Investigate and compare modern methods for object detection, segmentation, and anomaly detection
• Further develop a vision platform for production-oriented AI systems
• Optimize AI models for accuracy, robustness, and real-time capability
• Work with Python, PyTorch, OpenCV, and Docker using GPU infrastructure

Requirements

• Enrolled student in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field
• Completed a significant portion of studies, preferably with a focus on Data Science and AI
• Programming knowledge, specifically in Python
• Experience with frameworks such as PyTorch or OpenCV
• Interest in modern AI technologies and their industrial application
• Structured working style and ability to work independently and in a team
