Master Technician

Responsibilities

• Assist technicians and engineers with test preparation and troubleshooting
• Prepare battery cells and packs for testing through welding, soldering, and wiring
• Perform battery cell and pack abuse, environmental, and cycle life testing
• Assemble and repair test fixtures and setups
• Perform equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and recycling of cells and packs
• Maintain supplies and cell storage

Requirements

• Associate degree or Certification in a technical or electrical field (or equivalent work experience)
• 2+ years of experience in electronics, electrical, and environmental testing
• Knowledge of DC and AC circuitry, electronics assembly, and troubleshooting
• Proficiency in data acquisition (DAQ) and Excel data reporting
• Understanding of electronic test equipment, power supplies, and oscilloscopes
• Familiarity with PCB design, layout, and preparation for testing
• Strong mechanical skills and hands-on aptitude
• Good oral and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with battery and charger testing
