About the role
Responsibilities
- Create, maintain, and update the Master Production Schedule for assigned programs to ensure customer commitments are met.
- Chair monthly Master Production Schedule reviews and generate monthly production dashboards.
- Communicate weekly work schedules and targets to the production team via daily meetings.
- Align the Master Production Schedule with inventory levels and On-Time Delivery (OTD) targets.
- Provide labor resource requirement plans and align on load leveling targets with the Operations management team.
- Develop capacity 'What If' simulation models for end-to-end manufacturing processes.
- Forecast headcount and capacity requirements based on an 18-month outlook of future orders.
- Support efforts to meet Customer On-Time Delivery requirements and achieve Aged WIP targets.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in a Master Scheduling role.
- Essential experience using SAP.
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be a permanent UK resident and eligible to work in the UK without sponsorship.
- Ability to successfully complete a baseline (BPSS) security and background check.
