Master Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a master production schedule to ensure balanced workloads and optimal resource utilization
• Collaborate with production planners, supply chain, and engineering to align schedules with demand forecasts
• Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or bottlenecks to maintain smooth workflow
• Monitor and analyze plant capacity levels to identify risks or inefficiencies
• Provide actionable recommendations to address capacity constraints and improve throughput
• Create and present detailed reports to upper management on plant capacity and production performance
• Develop and monitor dashboards and metrics to track key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Implement and refine scheduling processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent experience
• 3-10 years of experience in master scheduling or capacity planning within a manufacturing environment
• Proficiency in ERP/MRP systems (Infor Syteline preferred) and advanced Excel skills
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
• Familiarity with make-to-order manufacturing environments

Preferred Qualifications

• APICS/ASCM CPIM certification
