Master Scheduler

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain the master production schedule to ensure efficient plant operations across multiple locations
• Analyze resources and production rates to ensure accurate resource allocated schedules
• Generate scheduling reports to identify material shortages, shipment issues, and labor requirements
• Communicate 3-week and 12-week schedules to Production Managers and Project Managers
• Proactively identify workforce, material, and shipping issues
• Interface with MRP data to incorporate production rates and material availability into the master schedule
• Drive cross-departmental cooperation between procurement, materials management, and production

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, data analysis, manufacturing, business, or related field
• 7+ years of experience in production planning or scheduling
• Proficiency in Google Apps Script for data programming
• Experience with scheduling programs such as MS Project, Primavera P6, or Monday.com
• Experience with MRP/ERP systems (e.g., Acumatica, Oracle, SAP, SAGE)
• Proven manufacturing experience, ideally in metal or electrical manufacturing
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours daily

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Arena Simulation or other Industrial Engineering software
• Experience with automation tools like MS Power Automate
