Master Optician/Trainer

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead in-person optical training and onboarding at the Dortmund training center
• Develop and continuously optimize practical training concepts and educational materials
• Manage quality control in the store to ensure high-quality eyewear for sale
• Provide full customer service including selection, consultation, fitting, minor repairs, and complaint handling
• Perform refractions and analyze correction values
• Advise customers with a focus on fashion and individual needs

Requirements

• Master's degree in Ophthalmic Optics (Augenoptikermeister)
• Ideally experience as a trainer, coach, or in colleague training
• Strong passion for knowledge transfer and professional development
• Service-oriented personality with excellent customer consultation skills
• Profound experience in refraction and correction value analysis
• Flexible, confident, and goal-oriented mindset
