DFDS offers training positions for Master Mariner students. Life at sea is unique and enriching, providing a meaningful role with the freedom to enjoy extended periods on land for family and leisure.
Responsibilities
- Become a natural part of the daily operations on board the ship
- Participate in practical training on Ro-Ro cargo or passenger vessels
- Coordinate sailing time with ship management (minimum 6 weeks at sea followed by 7-10 days home)
Requirements
- High school diploma (Gymnasieeksamen)
- Ability to be approved by a maritime doctor
- Academic aptitude
- Enjoyment of physical work
- Natural independence and maturity
