Master Maintenance

Responsibilities

• Construct, layout, and design metal stud walls, computer floors, acoustical ceilings, and perform drywall and carpentry tasks.
• Serve as a team lead for building maintenance projects and provide oversight to external contractors and vendors.
• Train Apprentice and Journeyman staff in maintenance and carpentry operations.
• Manage the Equipment Maintenance Program, including developing preventative maintenance checklists and monitoring compliance.
• Conduct job analysis to determine project scope, resources, and requirements.
• Review technical documentation and blueprints provided by architects, engineers, and contractors.
• Perform preventive maintenance on buildings and furnishings and assist with the setup of sponsored events.

Requirements

• Successful completion of an Apprenticeship Program for carpenters or equivalent formal training.
• Proven experience performing job functions at the Journeyman level.
• Valid driver's license.
• Thorough knowledge of local, state, and national building codes.
• Ability to lift, move, and set up tools, equipment, and furniture weighing in excess of 50 lbs.
• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• OSHA Certifications.
• Previous experience working specifically in the Facility Maintenance field.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
