Master Heavy Equipment Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate off-road heavy mobile equipment including cable/dragline cranes, hydraulic material handlers, excavators, pot carriers, and front-end loaders
• Perform and record routine mobile equipment pre-start and post inspections
• Complete required activity reports
• Follow all company and customer policies, rules, and safety requirements
• Train other operators on proper equipment operation

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3+ years of experience as a heavy equipment operator
• Ability to perform manual labor in outdoor environments, including elevated areas and extreme weather
• Strong communication skills and ability to read operating instructions
• Ability to travel extensively to various sites
• Proactive approach to safety and ability to work well in a team
