Master Field Engineer

Responsibilities

• Initiate, install, troubleshoot, and optimize customer systems utilizing advanced Direct Digital Control technology
• Mentor and develop less experienced Field Engineers on field tools and technology
• Serve as the local technical contact and provide effective solutions for complex system issues
• Deliver turnkey project management for medium to large-scale projects
• Ensure systems operate properly, including controls, sensors, and software
• Load software and configure trends, alarms, and reports
• Communicate and document project status and details for customers
• Provide site-specific training to owners and operators on complete systems

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 6+ years of experience in Building Automation, HVAC, or a related technical field
• Current Driver’s License and ability to be insured by the company
• Physical ability to climb ladders or use lift equipment exceeding 8 feet and lift up to 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Associate, or Technical/Business School Certificate in HVAC, Controls, or a related field
• Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP networks and wireless technologies
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
• Proficiency in reading and understanding Architectural, Mechanical, and Electrical blueprints
• Experience managing multiple simultaneous challenges across various disciplines
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365 applications
