Responsibilities

• Install electrical infrastructure required to support heat pump systems
• Perform load calculations and design code-compliant solutions
• Upgrade main electrical panels, including smart panels and sub-panels
• Pull permits and manage the inspection process across Oregon jurisdictions
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform repairs on-site
• Coordinate with HVAC install crews and other trades
• Perform preventive maintenance and test electrical systems for compliance
• Maintain strict compliance with NEC and local electrical codes

Requirements

• Master Electrician license with ability to pull permits in Oregon
• Deep residential installation experience (service upgrades, panel work, large loads)
• Fluency in modern panel technology (Span, Leviton, Schneider, etc.)
• Ability to perform accurate load calculations
• Comfort working in older homes with legacy wiring
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of OSHA Electrical Standards and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
• Physical stamina for residential install work

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with heat pump or HVAC-related electrical installs
• Familiarity with cold-climate heat pump systems
• Experience on gas-to-electric conversion projects
• Staying current on electrification codes and equipment trends
