Master Electrician

Responsibilities

• Install electrical infrastructure for heat pump systems
• Perform load calculations and design code-compliant solutions
• Upgrade main electrical panels, smart panels, and sub-panels
• Pull permits and manage the inspection process in Georgia
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues on-site
• Coordinate with HVAC install crews and other trades
• Perform preventive maintenance and test electrical systems
• Maintain compliance with NEC and local electrical codes

Requirements

• Master Electrician license with permit pulling ability in Georgia
• GA Electrical Contractor — Class II Unrestricted
• Deep residential installation experience (service upgrades, panel work)
• Proficiency with smart panel technology (Span, Leviton, Schneider)
• Ability to perform accurate load calculations
• Experience with legacy wiring in older homes
• Physical stamina for residential install work
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of OSHA Electrical and Lockout/Tagout standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience with heat pump or HVAC-related electrical installs
• Familiarity with cold-climate heat pump systems
• Experience with gas-to-electric conversion projects
• Knowledge of current electrification codes and equipment trends
