Master Electrician III

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance on production equipment, including PLC protocols (Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, etc.) and CNC control systems
• Execute robotics tasks such as homing, troubleshooting, pendant navigation, and editing touch points
• Utilize predictive maintenance tools including infrared cameras, ultrasonic, and vibration analysis instruments
• Conduct electrical preventive maintenance inspections, including wire harnesses, filters, and cable management
• Read and interpret electrical drawings to troubleshoot complex electrical and mechanical systems
• Mentor and train new electricians and provide input into plant Root Cause Analysis (RCA) processes
• Adhere to all electrical safety requirements, including ARC flash regulations and IATF policies

Requirements

• Valid Master's Electrician License in the State of Michigan
• Minimum of eight (8) years of verified industrial electrical experience preferred
• Proficiency in troubleshooting automated manufacturing equipment and machine functionality
• Strong understanding of conveyors, automation, and mechanical systems
• Ability to use a laptop to review Ladder Logic in Allen Bradley and Siemens PLCs
• Must possess own tools (excluding specialty tools)

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience within the automotive industry
• Proficiency in German and/or Spanish language skills
