Master Electrician

Responsibilities

• Serve as the licensed Master Electrician for the facility, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and Texas regulations
• Perform, supervise, and verify all electrical work including power distribution, lighting, panelboards, and grounding systems
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical faults across modular buildings
• Support general maintenance activities and perform routine inspections to identify infrastructure deficiencies
• Respond to electrical service calls and urgent maintenance issues
• Enforce lock-out/tag-out procedures and electrical safety practices
• Provide technical guidance and oversight to maintenance personnel and contractors

Requirements

• Active Texas Master Electrician license issued by the TDLR
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical work
• Demonstrated experience working with temporary, modular, or prefabricated structures
• Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
• Proven troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of site electrical systems
• Physically capable of working in mechanical and electrical rooms
