About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee installation of complex electrical systems in manufactured buildings
  • Diagnose and resolve electrical problems using deep technical expertise
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for electrical systems
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant codes and regulations
  • Interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to other electricians
  • Promote a strong safety culture and adherence to OSHA guidelines
  • Manage electrical projects including planning, resource allocation, and timelines

Requirements

  • Valid and current Master Electrician license
  • Significant experience as a Journeyman and Master Electrician
  • Advanced proficiency with electrician tools, techniques, and testing equipment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of relevant electrical codes and regulations
  • Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and training abilities
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adhere to all safety requirements and OSHA guidelines
  • Ability to perform physical demands including lifting and bending
  • Willingness to travel up to 100% including overnight stays
  • Ability to pass a background check and participate in drug and alcohol programs

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience with PLC programming or automation systems
  • Certifications related to specific electrical systems or technologies
  • Project management experience
  • Experience with high-voltage systems
  • Knowledge of NEC and other relevant standards
