About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the master data lifecycle, including creation, change, and deactivation for materials, customers, vendors, and prices in ERP systems.
- Ensure timely and compliant data updates following defined governance rules and agreed SLAs.
- Perform regular audits and cleansing activities to maintain data integrity and monitor data KPIs.
- Act as the single point of contact (SPOC) for the global Master Data team and European market stakeholders.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial, and IT departments to ensure data supports business needs and system integrations.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process optimization and automation using tools like Power BI.
- Maintain clear documentation of master data processes and provide training to local users or data owners.
- Analyze data trends and generate reports to support business decision-making.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in master data management, preferably within FMCG or manufacturing environments.
- Proficiency in ERP systems, specifically SAP (ECC/S4, MDG, MM, SD, or FI).
- Advanced Excel skills, including experience with Power Query and Power Pivot.
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English.
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous attention to detail and a structured approach to data governance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with global data harmonization or migration projects.
- Proficiency in additional languages such as French, Italian, or German.
- Strong understanding of business processes including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and plan-to-produce.
