Master Control HUB Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise and perform duties to ensure the on-air integrity of multiple network programming feeds
• Provide immediate response to emergency situations that may affect on-air programming
• Provide technical and operational support to Hub operations management and master control staff
• Ensure technical procedures and company policies are followed and suggest proactive improvements
• Maintain operations-based server functions, including server space and general media management
• Assist in managing Broadcast Hub Operations staff, including scheduling, training, and performance management
• Assist with creating SOPs for new processes and workflows
• Perform Live On-Air duties in relation to event/operator coverage when necessary

Requirements

• BA/BS in a related field or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft O365 and Excel
• Knowledge of television broadcast equipment, including video/audio routing, file servers, and remote transmitter monitoring
• Experience with Crispin automation or similar multi-channel automation systems
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve broadcast issues quickly under pressure
• Strong organization, time management, and customer service skills
• Ability to work onsite in Charlotte, NC
• Availability to work flexible hours, including overnights, weekends, and holidays for a 24/7 operation
