About the role
Responsibilities
- Assess clients' physical condition and medical history to determine best massage techniques
- Consult with clients to discuss needs, preferences, and treatment goals
- Perform various massage techniques including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and hot stone massage
- Use appropriate pressure, rhythm, and flow to create therapeutic experiences
- Maintain accurate client records and document progress
- Follow proper hygiene and sanitation procedures
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited massage therapy program
- Valid license to practice massage therapy in Washington
- Proficiency in various massage techniques (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, prenatal, etc.)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Professionalism
