Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough and professional massage treatments adhering to company protocols
• Create a feeling of rest and relaxation to ensure high guest retention
• Develop detailed prescription plans for guests to use for home care regimens
• Educate guests on spa services, retail products, and seasonal promotions
• Maintain treatment rooms by setting up, cleaning, and restocking according to standards
• Uphold universal health care protocols, including sanitation and sterilization
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings, trainings, and workshops

Requirements

• Applicable state massage license
• Training from an accredited or approved massage school
• 12 to 18 months of experience in a high-end resort or urban day spa preferred
• Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Valid US work authorization

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in high-end luxury spa environments
• Strong knowledge of anatomy and contraindications for various massage techniques
• Excellent communication skills and computer literacy
