Massage Therapist

Responsibilities

• Provide thorough and professional massage treatments adhering to company protocols
• Maintain established revenue and guest retention goals for the massage department
• Create detailed prescription plans for guests to use for home care regimens
• Educate guests on spa services, retail products, packages, and seasonal promotions
• Set up, clean, and restock treatment rooms according to luxury spa standards
• Uphold universal health care protocols, sanitation, and sterilization standards
• Attend scheduled departmental meetings, trainings, and workshops

Requirements

• Applicable state license to perform massage therapy services
• Training from an accredited or approved massage school
• Computer literacy for administrative tasks
• Availability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong understanding of anatomy and the ability to identify contraindications

Preferred Qualifications

• 12 to 18 months of experience working in a high-end resort or urban day spa environment
