Mass Production Validation Engineer

Responsibilities

• Perform silicon bring-up for major blocks including CPU, DRAM Controller, CMU, and PMU
• Conduct IP function validation for CPU, DRAM, PMU, NAND, PCIe, DMA, SPI, I2C, and UART
• Evaluate major voltage domain LVCC margins across SDK versions, board versions, corners, and chip revisions
• Secure screen vectors, operating voltages, and operating frequencies for major voltage domains
• Debug issues and secure workaround solutions
• Manage board bring-up and sample sorting for ASB, Evaluation, High Speed Characteristic Test, and GPIO boards
• Conduct stability testing using machines and servers (Aging)
• Collaborate with and support the Solution QA Team
• Ensure mass production readiness by addressing yield issues and securing screening criteria
• Evaluate SW version upgrade feasibility regarding margin, function, and aging

Requirements

• Understanding and ability to use programming languages such as C, Python, and Bash
• Understanding of electronic circuits (semiconductors) and computer architecture

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Linux (Ubuntu) and ability to implement device drivers (firmware)
• Understanding of high-speed interfaces such as DRAM, PCIe, D2D, and Ethernet
• Understanding of SoC characteristics including Shmoo, LVcc, Eye Margin, Power, and Temperature
• Experience using measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, power supplies, and multimeters
