Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, control, and monitor automated production systems
• Perform changeovers, including batch and order changes
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and perform minor repairs or maintenance according to TPM guidelines
• Monitor machine functions to ensure planned cycle times and timely material availability
• Maintain plant documentation and conduct structured shift handovers
• Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement (KVP)
• Ensure safety, order, and cleanliness within the machine and plant areas

Requirements

• Completed vocational training as an Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician, Machine Operator, or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in a production environment, ideally with automated systems
• Proficiency in operating machinery; knowledge of ABB controls is an advantage
• Structured, independent, and quality-conscious working style with a strong understanding of safety
• Team player with reliability, flexibility, and a sense of responsibility
• Willingness to work in shifts and proficiency in written and spoken German
