Responsibilities

• Perform in-house assembly of large turbogenerators (up to 350 MVA)
• Manipulate heavy-duty components including stators, rotors, and fully assembled generators
• Assemble generator bearing housings and air-water coolers
• Install air guide shields, generator covers, small parts, and various instrumentation
• Use various tools, machines, and equipment to assemble and disassemble machine elements

Requirements

• Completed apprenticeship in mechanical engineering or a comparable qualification
• Ability to read and interpret technical manufacturing drawings
• Knowledge of materials, tools, and safety regulations
• Basic understanding of electrical installations related to machinery
• Knowledge of pneumatics and hydraulics is an advantage
• Valid crane license
• Proficiency in the German language
• Willingness to work in a 3-shift system and perform overtime
• Precise and conscientious working style and ability to work in a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous professional experience in mechanical assembly
• Knowledge of welding techniques
