Markets Asset Servicing - Income Analyst

Responsibilities

• Process global income events including dividends, coupons, and redemptions.
• Complete pre-event reconciliations and pay-date processing to mitigate client and desk impact.
• Manage payable and receivable claims with internal and external counterparties.
• Reconcile cash, wash, suspense, and control account breaks to ensure timely resolution.
• Act as an escalation point for trading, middle office, finance, and operations stakeholders.
• Identify control gaps, perform root-cause analysis, and support remediation activities.
• Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce risk.
• Produce metrics and reporting to support performance monitoring and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Three years of relevant experience in asset servicing (income/corporate actions) or market operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex operational scenarios.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Experience with data transformation or analytics tools such as Alteryx, SQL, Python, or SAS.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or QlikView/QlikSense.
• Ability to manage tight delivery timelines and prioritize concurrent tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or a related field.
• Understanding of delivery methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
• Business analytics or project management certification.
• Experience supporting process change initiatives and operational transformations.
• Series 99 license is a plus.
