About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic and tactical guidance for community outreach and marketing campaigns to support brain health research for the military and Veteran community.
- Implement community outreach and collaborate with project teams to develop local strategies for brain health education and awareness.
- Conduct field work and direct partner engagement at least 75% of the time, including site visits at partner locations.
- Research, design, and coordinate outreach initiatives and events to achieve program objectives.
- Manage team scheduling, materials, and event planning to support all outreach efforts.
- Track performance goals related to brain donation initiatives and generate real-time insights into team performance.
- Build and maintain community relationships with military, Veteran, and end-of-life regional partners.
- Coordinate with peers across different regions to ensure a cohesive and standard approach to marketing.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field, plus 3-5 years of engagement and outreach experience (or 7 years of directly related Field Marketing experience in lieu of a degree).
- Proven experience implementing outreach initiatives in medical sales, end-of-life marketing, law enforcement, or military/Veteran environments.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and processes.
- Proficiency with marketing and outreach tools, including print, presentation, audio, and video.
- Reliable transportation and a current driver’s license for daily regional travel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience working specifically within end-of-life or military environments.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish.
- Thorough knowledge of relevant regional partners in the Dallas/Fort Worth/McKinney area.
