About the role
Responsibilities
- Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, email, and in-center channels.
- Coordinate campaign timelines, deliverables, approvals, and production schedules.
- Support marketing for community events, seasonal promotions, and special initiatives.
- Create, schedule, and publish organic social media content.
- Capture photography and short-form video highlighting YMCA programs, members, and community impact.
- Coordinate the production, distribution, and installation of in-center marketing materials like signage and digital displays.
- Manage multiple marketing projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and communicating status updates.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in marketing, communications, or content creation.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to occasionally work evenings and weekends to support events and organizational initiatives.
- Ability to lift and transport marketing materials and event supplies weighing up to 25 pounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing organic social media for an organization or brand.
- Experience creating photography and short-form video content for marketing purposes.
- Basic graphic design experience using Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud, or similar tools.
- Experience working in a nonprofit, membership, or community-focused organization.
