About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, execution, and reporting of primary research projects for the NFL.
- Lead project management of research initiatives, including collaboration with internal stakeholders and management of third-party vendors.
- Create story-driven reports from scratch to provide strategic insights to key stakeholders such as NFL Media, Marketing, and Media Sales.
- Serve as a research expert and the "voice of the fan" by determining applicable methodologies, survey design, and data weighting.
- Utilize research tools and platforms (e.g., MarketSight, YouGov, AceMetrix) to pull and analyze data.
- Provide ad-hoc support for NFL Consumer Insights projects and custom research studies.
Requirements
- 1-3 years of prior professional experience in a research or analytical role.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field (e.g., Market Research, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Data & Analytics, or a related discipline).
- Proven ability to design and write quantitative surveys based on specific business objectives.
- Strong skills in data synthesis and the ability to communicate complex findings through concise, creative reports.
- Proficiency with analytical platforms such as Microsoft Excel, SPSS, or Q.
- Excellent project management and relationship-building skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with various research methods including segmentation, online surveys, ethnographies, and focus groups.
- Understanding of advanced analytic techniques such as regression, factor analysis, cluster analysis, or conjoint analysis.
