Through strong producer partnerships, rigorous quality selection, and seamless logistics, Mercanta supplies roasters across the globe with a diverse and dependable coffee portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Support and promotion of impact projects in collaboration with partners at Origin
• Day-to-day management of the Mercanta website
• Online/offline ad buying, placement, and impact analysis
• Writing articles or commissioning long-form content for publication
• Coordination of coffee promotions across social media channels, the website, and offer lists
• Co-management of multiple social media accounts including image selection and analytics
• Light graphic design work for social media and print materials
• Budgeting, planning and execution of events and trade shows
• Production and distribution of general marketing and brand collateral
• Collating traceability information from producers and transforming it into storytelling
• Drafting and distributing traceability reports for all coffees purchased
• Oversee marketing activities for the London School of Coffee and Mercanta Micro
• Management of Intellectual Property and Trademarks in conjunction with legal

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years experience in marketing
• Knowledge of specialty coffee and interest in sustainable supply chains
• Proficiency in Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
• Experience with email campaign tools
• Proficiency in Adobe Suite and Canva
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Native or fluent English speaker
• Strong working knowledge of a second language, preferably Spanish
