Marketing & Events Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Create and manage project plans for various marketing and event activities
• Coordinate events, meetings, and festivals by organizing requirements, schedules, and assignments
• Develop and maintain a Festival Planning Calendar with weekly team meetings to ensure goals are met
• Work with team members to ensure all elements of the planning calendar are delivered on time
• Maintain email lists for internal and external communications and track planning progress
• Write and manage monthly project status reports
• Provide support in social media monitoring and assist in collating marketing materials
• Maintain records of press coverage and accept ownership of new organizational requests

Requirements

• Previous project management experience, preferably within a start-up environment
• Proven experience in events management and marketing activation
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic knowledge of Adobe, WordPress, and HTML (or a strong willingness to learn)
• Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to remain calm and operate effectively under pressure and tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Writing experience is a plus
