About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy, planning, and execution of high-profile events to strengthen client relationships and support business development.
- Develop and implement an annual events calendar aligned with Firm priorities and marketing goals.
- Manage all event logistics, including venue selection, vendor management, catering, and on-site coordination.
- Oversee multi-day events such as partner retreats, client conferences, and trade shows.
- Prepare, manage, and reconcile event budgets to ensure cost efficiency and measurable ROI.
- Negotiate contracts with hotels, venues, and service providers.
- Partner with the Marketing team to develop event invitations, collateral, and digital assets.
- Utilize CRM systems and event management platforms to track attendance and analyze performance metrics.
- Provide coaching and direction to the Events Coordinator and other support staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in event planning and management.
- Proven experience managing an events team in a professional setting.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex events simultaneously.
- Proficiency in CRM systems, event management platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours as needed for event execution.
