Marketing Director

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute annual marketing plans and budgets to increase center sales, traffic, and sponsorship revenue.
• Act as the primary business development representative for the center, prospecting and closing media and sponsorship deals.
• Manage the local sales process from pipeline establishment to relationship cultivation with brand-appropriate partners.
• Monitor marketing budgets, manage monthly financial forecasts, and provide regular updates to the General Manager.
• Create and execute national and local programs that integrate retailers and drive measurable ROI.
• Garner local and regional publicity through press releases, media alerts, and relationship management with broadcast resources.
• Cultivate strong retailer relations through regular communication and support.
• Develop local tourism strategies, including partnerships with hotels, resorts, and tour groups.
• Build positive relationships with community and civic leaders, including the Chamber of Commerce and Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
• 4+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or public relations.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage high-volume tasks.
• Strong leadership and communication skills to engage with customers, retailers, and employees.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the commercial real estate industry or a retail environment.
