Marketing Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the proposal process by managing proactive and RFP responses, creating strategic ideas for advertising partners within the Food + Beverage vertical
• Build persuasive, insight-driven meeting decks that effectively showcase company capabilities and value to clients
• Utilize storytelling to bring ideas to life through well-written and visually appealing proposals
• Partner closely with Editorial, Content Strategy, Research, and Account Strategy teams to communicate unique value propositions
• Develop strong relationships with the sales team and provide support on client calls as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or a related field
• 6-8 years of relevant experience at a digital publisher, with a focus on pre-sales marketing
• Strong creative writing and storytelling skills
• Proficiency in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides to execute visually impactful presentations
• Deep understanding of the digital advertising landscape, products, and trends
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to remain poised under pressure

Preferred Qualifications

• Background in the Food + Beverage category
• Understanding of the print and/or programmatic marketplace
