About the role
Responsibilities
- Define and lead the global commercial strategy for Abbott Point of Care international markets, including EMEA, APAC, and Latin America.
- Drive successful global product launches, ensuring strong positioning and execution excellence across diverse regions.
- Develop and implement international marketing plans encompassing segmentation, targeting, pricing, and channel strategy.
- Create globally aligned yet locally adaptable messaging, promotional tools, and digital assets.
- Partner with Regional GMs and country leaders to ensure consistent execution and market development.
- Engage with global and regional Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to build advocacy and drive product adoption.
- Support market access through health economic tools and value-based messaging.
- Manage marketing budgets and contribute to long-range strategic forecasting and demand planning.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical, Regulatory, Market Access, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
Requirements
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or a technical/scientific discipline.
- 12–15+ years of progressive commercial leadership experience in Medical Devices, Diagnostics, or Healthcare.
- Proven experience leading multi-country marketing teams across international regions (EMEA, APAC, LATAM, etc.).
- Strong understanding of global healthcare systems, reimbursement environments, and regulatory landscapes.
- Demonstrated expertise in digital marketing, omnichannel strategy, and global brand development.
- Exceptional communication and influencing skills with the ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional language skills (such as Arabic) are a distinct advantage.
