Marketing & Digital Media Intern

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development of marketing strategies and social media campaigns to increase brand awareness for bowl games and related events.
• Plan and create monthly social media content calendars for platforms such as Instagram and X.
• Create marketing materials and social media content using Canva and other digital design tools.
• Support on-site content capture and digital coverage during bowl promotional events and community activations.
• Assist with sponsor marketing activities, marketing research projects, and event logistics.
• Contribute to the creation of recap books, media collateral, and licensing items.
• Support off-site activations and grassroots marketing efforts throughout the fall season.

Requirements

• Must be an active college student.
• Must receive college credit for the internship.
• Ability to work 15–20 hours per week, primarily onsite at Toyota Stadium in Frisco, Texas.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Canva.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Sports Marketing, Digital Media, Marketing, or Public Relations.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro).
• Photography or videography skills.
• A portfolio of social media content, graphic design, or video work.
