About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Marketing & Social Media teams
- Update and maintain media lists
- Develop and post news releases
- Create content for client social channels
- Monitor and moderate client social channels and online reputation
- Track analytics and provide support for results reporting
- Compile industry research and insights
Requirements
- Strong writing and proofreading skills
- Knowledge of AP Style writing
- Understanding of business use of social media channels (Facebook, X, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.)
- Ability to summarize large amounts of data into digestible takeaways
- Experience creating news releases, pitches, and media materials
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must reside in Dallas, Texas
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SEO and SEM
- Previous relevant internship experience
