Marketing Automation & Operations Specialist

Responsibilities

• Build end-to-end campaigns and multi-step Canvas journeys in Braze across email, push, WhatsApp, SMS, and in-app channels
• Apply Liquid personalization, conditional logic, and Connected Content to create dynamic, compliance-driven messages
• Validate audience segment logic, including include/exclude filters and test vs control splits
• Verify user attributes are correctly mapped in the data layer
• Ensure content quality through localization checks, rendering tests, and UTM parameter validation
• Collaborate with Lifecycle Marketing planners to translate strategy into accurate Braze builds

Requirements

• 2+ years of hands-on experience building customer communications in Braze
• Braze certifications (L3 Technical Expert, L2 Marketing Specialist, and L1 Practitioner)
• Practical experience building multi-step journeys or Canvas flows
• Working knowledge of Liquid templating for personalization and conditional logic
• Solid understanding of audience segmentation and user attribute mapping
• Experience building across multiple channels (email, push, WhatsApp, SMS, or in-app)
• Proficiency in English for working with global remote colleagues
• Knowledge of subscription management and frequency capping

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with operational, transactional, or compliance-driven communications
• Familiarity with Connected Content and external APIs
• Experience setting up A/B or multivariate tests
• Understanding of email deliverability best practices
• Background in fintech, payments, or regulated industries
• Working knowledge of Braze REST API and data ingestion methods (SDK, Currents)
