Marketing and Training Coordinator/WEDnet Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee marketing and training activities for the Small Business Development Center (SBDC)
• Plan, organize, and advertise seminars to meet small business needs
• Create marketing collateral and promotional materials using Canva
• Manage social media platforms to engage with funders, partners, and legislators
• Secure professional speakers and negotiate with facility locations for training events
• Coordinate WEDnetPA program funding, including application support and contract management
• Guide businesses through the WEDnetPA application and reimbursement processes
• Monitor training outcomes, maintain records for audits, and prepare stakeholder reports
• Act as a liaison between businesses, educational institutions, and regional economic development organizations

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Proficiency in Canva for creating marketing materials
• Experience managing social media marketing across multiple platforms
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently with high attention to detail
• Strong written, oral, and proofreading communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with WEDnetPA, DCED programs, or other state-funded workforce initiatives
• Familiarity with employer engagement, training reimbursement systems, or contract administration
• Knowledge of Pennsylvania’s workforce and economic development network
