Marketing and Communications Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Develop content for social media, newsletters, and the website to influence the perception of Downtown Denver
• Craft compelling press releases, media advisories, and talking points regarding public policy and urban planning
• Proactively pitch media partners and support inbound media inquiries
• Collaborate with the Creative Marketing Coordinator on social media trends and platform optimization
• Manage website content and write SEO-optimized copy
• Lead outreach and communication efforts for ground floor businesses and Partnership members
• Monitor and report on Meta Ads and Google Ads campaigns
• Maintain marketing records, collateral, and email contact databases

Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in communications, advertising, PR, marketing, social media, or event production
• Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
• Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe, and Canva
• Creative mindset with an aptitude for storytelling

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Experience with graphic design
• Experience with video editing
