Market Supervisory Officer

Responsibilities

• Manage hiring and personnel decisions, coach the supervisory team, and provide training on supervisory tools and operational procedures
• Oversee the review of various supervision processes and drive initiatives related to sales supervision, compliance, and business risk
• Support branches during Branch Review and Group Internal Audit processes, including conducting site visits and developing action plans
• Partner with the Compliance department to provide input on policy and support the communication of new regulations
• Serve as a primary point of contact for complex issues and escalate matters as required to ensure risk mitigation

Requirements

• Substantive experience as a risk/supervisory manager or in a leadership role within a leading financial institution
• Required licensing: Series 7, Series 8 (or 9/10), and Series 66 (or 63/65)
• Proven track record of successful leadership, mentoring, and coaching
• Strong communication skills with the ability to handle challenging situations and make sound judgments
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to changing market conditions and technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the insurance sector
