Market Research & Insights Lead

Responsibilities

• Own Carwow's primary and secondary research agenda, including brand tracking and consumer sentiment
• Commission and manage external research suppliers like YouGov and GfK
• Design and run bespoke quantitative and qualitative research projects
• Synthesise internal marketplace signals with external research into actionable narratives
• Position Carwow as an industry thought leader through press, trade media, and conferences
• Draft and publish regular insight reports and data releases
• Brief senior leadership, Commercial, and Product teams on market dynamics

Requirements

• 8+ years in market research or consumer insights
• Experience in both agency and in-house environments
• Proven track record of building or owning a brand tracking programme
• Experience managing external research suppliers
• Ability to translate complex data into compelling narratives
• Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with the UK automotive industry
