Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop employees to deliver exceptional service and achieve strategic sales and profitability goals.
• Develop and execute market and branch business plans to drive client acquisition, retention, and market growth.
• Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and accountability aligned with BMO’s purpose and values.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key market customers, prospects, and community influencers.
• Monitor sales and service performance against plans to identify gaps and implement corrective action plans.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership regarding business decisions and strategic initiatives.
• Ensure all activities comply with legal, regulatory, and internal bank policies and risk management frameworks.

Requirements

• 9+ years of relevant experience in retail banking or a related field.
• Post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Proven supervisory or management experience leading high-performing teams.
• Expert knowledge of retail banking products, services, and competitive marketplace trends.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and influence skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity and lead through complex, interdependent challenges.
