Market Place Supervisor

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Market Place to ensure high quality service and sanitation.
• Train, supervise, and provide leadership to regular and student employees.
• Monitor food and supply levels and coordinate orders for future service periods.
• Coordinate maintenance schedules and communicate updates to the Dining Service staff.
• Respond to and address customer feedback and concerns in a professional manner.
• Serve as back-fill support for open stations within the Dining Center as needed.
• Collaborate with the leadership team on scheduling and operational decision-making.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least six months of experience in high-volume dining service or a restaurant environment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead and motivate a team.
• Proficiency in maintaining cleanliness and adhering to health and safety standards.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisory role within a food service environment.
