Responsibilities

• Monitor and interpret ISO protocols, regulatory updates, and market rule changes through active participation in ISO stakeholder processes
• Conduct asset deployment valuation and technical analysis to inform business development and strategic initiatives
• Develop white papers and recommendations to support market development efforts
• Collaborate with the real-time asset management team to maximize operational revenue from distributed battery fleets

Requirements

• Strong first-principles thinker
• Deep understanding of power systems operations at distribution and wholesale levels
• Proficient in data analysis with advanced programming skills in Python, Pandas, and SQL
• Excellent communication skills with ability to create data visualizations using Plotly, Matplotlib, or Grafana
• Ability to contribute to external communications and technical product engineering initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background in power systems or a related field
• Experience as an energy manager or in operating grid-scale and behind-the-meter asset portfolios
