About the role
Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly revenue goals through new customer acquisition and growing existing accounts
- Secure commitment of independent coffee shop owners and onboard them to Odeko’s local supply delivery service
- Leverage Odeko’s data-driven prospect database to develop new client relationships
- Own customer relationships pre and post sales, focusing on retention, expansion, and in-person cafe visits
- Work closely with Operations and Support to resolve day-to-day issues quickly
- Keep meticulous records in HubSpot CRM to report activity and conversations
- Collaborate with vendor partners at local coffee events and conduct sampling campaigns
- Serve as primary liaison between customers and internal teams, advocating for enhancements based on feedback
- Continually develop knowledge of local and national specialty coffee industry trends
Requirements
- 2+ years of relevant sales, account management, business development, or local coffee community leadership experience
- Experience discovering and closing sales opportunities and building client relationships
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Self-directed and comfortable in a constantly evolving environment
- Experience successfully managing a pipeline to achieve revenue targets
- Experience delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
- Passion for coffee and small business; a background in coffee is a bonus
