Market Manager

Responsibilities

• Build, manage, and expand partner relationships within the territory to surpass quarterly sales targets
• Conduct regular optimization calls and business reviews with partners to provide exceptional service
• Implement strategies to manage and optimize the long tail of hotels in the region
• Prospect and onboard new, high-quality supply within the assigned geography
• Educate clients on product updates and cascade feedback to internal stakeholders
• Leverage data to identify and pursue strategic growth opportunities
• Work cross-functionally with product, communications, public policy, legal, tax, and customer support teams
• Represent Airbnb in external meetings and industry conferences

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in new sales, account management, and partner support
• Proven track record managing a leads pipeline and a book of business
• Proficient quantitative skills with the ability to interpret and apply data
• Experience working cross-functionally in ambiguous environments
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce experience is a plus)
• Fluency in Japanese is required
• Based in Tokyo with willingness to travel to assigned territories like Osaka and Kyoto

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of tech or travel industry experience
• Fluency in English
• Experience as an Airbnb host
