About the Company

8Fleet is a rapidly growing LA-based technology and logistics startup building the operational infrastructure for both autonomous and non-autonomous rideshare fleets.

Responsibilities

• Own all financial and operational metrics to ensure optimal revenue and profit maximization
• Oversee day-to-day fleet operations including driver scheduling, dispatch, and performance monitoring
• Manage vehicle maintenance and repair programs to ensure safety and utilization
• Partner with the Growth team to recruit, onboard, and retain a high-performing driver base
• Analyze fleet performance data to identify areas for improvement in profitability and efficiency
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress towards business goals
• Provide ongoing support and training to drivers on safety regulations and customer service
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards

Requirements

• 2+ years of operations management, business consulting, or related experience
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Data-driven mindset with strong business judgment and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to manage teams and influence stakeholders
• BA/BS degree with an impressive academic record
• Ability to work full-time, on-site in Sacramento (5 days a week)

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or advanced degree
• Experience with ridesharing platforms such as Uber or Lyft
• Entrepreneurial experience
