About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of sellers in Northern California and Oregon to achieve revenue and financial objectives.
- Deliver superior growth and profitability by meeting targets in purchase volume, new account acquisition, and account penetration.
- Recruit, onboard, train, and coach a team of Relationship Managers to ensure high performance.
- Build a dynamic sales culture that aligns with broader Field strategies and drives market share.
- Participate in strategic and tactical planning to drive growth, customer retention, and productivity.
- Ensure all customer and prospect interactions comply with legal, regulatory, and compliance guidelines.
- Partner with headquarters-based support teams and local banking relationships to champion market growth.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of outside business-to-business (B2B) sales experience.
- At least 3 years of sales management experience or 3 years of peer coaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business Management.
- 6+ years of outside customer sales experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a sales leadership role.
- 5+ years of portfolio management experience.
- 3+ years of experience partnering with Small Businesses.
- 3+ years of financial industry experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.com.
