About the Company
Obvio AI deploys solar-powered, AI-assisted cameras to enforce traffic laws and prevent pedestrian fatalities. Backed by Bain Capital Ventures and Khosla Ventures, we are building the intelligence layer for safer streets globally.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute the go-to-market plan for assigned territories
- Personally prospect and close new government and enterprise accounts
- Meet with state and local legislators and attend hearings to drive procurement
- Strategically direct external lobbyists to ensure alignment with company priorities
- Coordinate pilot programs across product, engineering, and customer teams
- Diagnose stalled deals and remove blockers in the sales funnel
- Represent the company in court sessions, regulatory meetings, and public comment periods
- Serve as the connective tissue between HQ and the local market
Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in high-growth, operationally intense environments
- Proven track record of opening or scaling a new market, city, or territory
- Strong outbound sales and business development capabilities
- Ability to navigate government and political environments
- Exceptional communication and executive presence
- Entrepreneurial mindset with experience in startups or marketplace businesses
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA or management consulting background
- Experience at companies operating at the intersection of technology and the public sector
- Experience in government or public-sector relations
